ITS NEVER TOO LATE TO DREAM A NEW DREAM”
After a discussion with my doctor about the rigors of 31 years to my back, wrists and shoulders, I began to think; maybe it’s time for something else. Shortly after that, my son gifted me with a paperweight inscribed, “It’s never too late to dream a new dream.” It felt like the time was now.
I began researching how, where and what school would look like. I was fairly anxious about the prospect of going back to school. Overall, the thought of achieving this goal far outweighed the jitters of being a newbie student at 48-years-old. Of course, there were also the logistics of how in the heck do I do all this?! It was dizzying at times. We have a busy household of six (plus an aging but amazing 12-year-old golden retriever). I also owned an intimate salon for many years with a full roster of clients. I would be kidding if I said it wasn’t challenging.
